‘Hanging by a Thread’ Challenge

This activity takes the participants on an afternoon of canyoneering.

How often do we feel like we are hanging by a thread in our own lives  - multi-tasking, trying to be the best at everything, overextending ourselves and feeling burnt out and irritable with those we work and live with?  How often do we lose focus on the greater picture and get bogged down with the to do’s versus the bigger strategy that is a part of our jobs as leaders.  This exercise also focuses on letting go of micromanaging tendencies, controlling behaviours and the perfectionist side of ourselves while embracing a more trusting, team-oriented you.

5 p.m.

Continue to debrief Hanging by a Thread exercise.

Group Dinner

What are the costs of living our lives hanging by a thread – stressed out, controlling and constantly striving for perfection?  Tools are discussed to help participants let go of this life style in favour of one that is more trusting of others, less stressful and more productive.

“You’re a Superstar”

Participants will gain insight from others about the power of their presence in this world.  The exercise holds a ‘mirror’ up to participants to let them see themselves as they really are – outside of their own judgements and inner critics.  Tonight is about letting your brilliance shine!

You will learn greater insight into yourself as a human being and a leader in this world; increased confidence; increased motivation to make even more of a difference in your role.
