Taking Inventory of Your Year

A big part of Executive Coaching is asking powerful questions and then using my gut instinct as a coach to follow each question up with important observations, more insightful questions, and space for reflection.

I know I can’t coach everyone who reads this blog. But, I would like to share with you some of these coaching questions to help you reflect upon the importance of this year in your professional and personal growth and development. I would highly recommend grabbing a journal or a few blank pieces of paper and actually handwriting your answers to these coaching questions.

Journalling will make a big difference in terms of how deep you can go with your reflection. And the deeper you go, the more insights you have that can help propel your direction in a more solid way for the exciting year ahead!

So, grab a cup of tea or coffee, a pen and paper, and let the reflection begin!

How did I grow in 2024?

What worked for me in 2024?

What didn’t?

What is important going forward?

How do I go about making those shifts?

What resources do I need?

What was my biggest challenge? What lessons did I/am I continuing to learn from this experience?

Who am I when I am at my best?

How do I apply more of that to my work and life in 2025?

What is important for me to wrap up this year?

What makes that important at this time?

What are my successes this year?

How do I want to celebrate? When will I do this?

What other question do I need to ask myself here?
